What's new at the pool

New pool hours this year will be 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday and 9:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Last year, we launched a new security system: swipe cards. Every household who returned a signed acknowledgement form agreeing to abide by the pool rules and regulations received a swipe card. These cards were permanently assigned to the household and can be deactivated if lost or stolen, or the residents move. 

For new residents, you will need to complete a signed acknowledgement form to receive your swipe card. The complete rules and regulations can be downloaded from the form page.

Quick FAQs:

• Swipe cards replace pin code entry.

• One card will be issued for free to every household in good standing who completes an
  acknowledgement form. An additional card is available for $35/per card (nonrefundable).

• Each card is uniquely numbered and permanently assigned to a specific household. You
  will use the card every year; all homeowners current on dues and assessments will have
  their cards activated from year to year.

• Lost, stolen and damaged cards are the residents' responsibility The fee covers the cost of
  the card as well as the time it takes for a volunteer to disable the old card, reissue a new one
  and go to the pool to update the system. Please, take care of your card.

• Swipe card access maybe temporarily suspended for delinquent dues or pool rule
  violations.

• Cards belonging to homeowners who sell their homes will be permanently deactivated. New
  residents must provide signed acknowledgement forms to receive their card.

• Only adult household members can pick up the cards and sign acknowledgement forms.

• To make pick-up arrangements or for questions, e-mail us.

• The swipe card system works! It has helped us curb trespassing abuses, minimize
  vandalism and damage at the pool. Unfortunately, with the pin-code system, access was too
  easily achieved by people who were not sponsored guests nor HOA residents. Eliminating
  vandalism keeps YOUR association dues down.

• The card allows access to the pool during operation hours only.

A pool committee, comprised of all resident volunteers, oversees the maintenance of the pool, and the facility is funded entirely through Association member assessments. The pool is operated for the enjoyment of all Homes Association members in good standing. For everyone's enjoyment, it is essential that all members abide by the pool Rules and Regulations, which have been established for safety reasons as well as out of consideration for all members, whether they use the pool or not. This is a private community pool; keep your gate card safe. Sharing your card with unauthorized users is unfair to the entire community and is an abuse of pool privileges.  More photos of the pool facility, click here.

General rules (for complete rules, refer to the Rules and Regulations):

• No lifeguard is on duty; swim at your own risk.

• The pool facility and grounds are no-smoking areas.

• No children under 14 years are allowed in the pool facility without adult supervision.

• Parents/guardians must supervise their children and are responsible and accountable for their children and guests.

• Guests must have adult member consent to use the pool.

• To keep the pool facility clean and for everyone's safety, the following items are strictly prohibited: chewing gum, glass containers, skateboards, rollerblades, metal toys, bicycles, tricycles, inflatable devices (except water wings worn on the arms and small, inflatable rings), alcoholic beverages, pets (except service animals), suntan oil or baby oil and electrical devices (other than battery-operated).

• Attire: Swimmers must wear swimming suits in the pool; no cut-off shorts, T-shirts, tank tops, etc. may be worn in the pool. Exceptions made for medical or health reasons, see the Rules and Regulations for details.

• Behavior:  Parents must supervise their own children and guests. Diving, boisterous play or games endangering anyone present is prohibited as well as abusive or profane language.

• The decorative fountain area is a "KEEP OUT ZONE."
