Volunteer Opportunities
The board is currently recruiting help for HOA
committees. Most of the committees meet infrequently. Whatever your
hobbies, one of the committees probably meets your interests. We always
need members for:
Social - Planning occasional events
Landscaping - Off for the winter, but active planting flowers in the
spring.
Public relations - Assist in any public relations activity
Pool - Advise and guide pool maintenance and operations
General - Provide occasional support as needed to any committee
Without your help, our HOA wouldn't exist. Volunteer
today! |

Semi-annual Garage Sale
The HOA organizes two garage sale weekends (Friday and
Saturday) every year, one in the spring and again in the fall. The Fall sale will be
September 18th and 19th this year. The social committee will notify
residents of the upcoming date through signs posted at the entrances and
online at this Web site. The HOA also pays for advertising the local
newspaper and on the weekend, hangs entrance banners for visitors.
- You don't need to contact anyone if you want to
participate.
- Post your yard signs in front of your house and
at the nearest corner (with that homeowner's permission). Please
remember to pick up signs when your sale is over. Especially the signs
you've posted in someone else's yard - don't make your neighbors clean
up after you.
- You decide when to open and close your sale. Be
ready for early birds. Most sales start around 8 a.m.
- You can have your sale on either one or both
days; it's up to you.
- If you don't have much, get together with a
neighbor to double your merchandise-attraction power Plus you can
tag-team the sale, giving each other a break.
